Shoot and Edit Series – Day Long Event (**PLANNED**)

This event is one that has been announced in the past, just awaiting sufficient space on the calendar to make it happen. Finally, the first of many is coming, barring unforeseen circumstances.
At the moment, there is no model set up for the morning, so I will add the model in once I have one confirmed.
This event will also be like no other planned before, starting out with a brief period of teaching how to shoot manual and be ready for the day’s events for those who are still in the early stages of their photography. Then, we will move into 2 or 3 sets for shooting, depending on time, as their will be more teaching involved about the lighting, versus simply setting up lights and shooting the model. This instruction will allow those who have their own lights (or decide to rent the lights/studio later) some knowledge about lighting for their future shoots. After the morning session is done, we will break for lunch, which is up to each attendee or we can all meet at the same restaurant nearby (area has plenty to choose from). We will then come back and we will begin the editing portion. This portion will be quick and set up mostly how I would run through the photos and edit. It will cover editing from importing into Lightroom, Lightroom adjustments, and what I generally do with Photoshop. Ultimately I will show you how I quickly edit photos (usually less than 5 minutes) and then export them for web use.
I will be putting together an anticipated schedule when I can, along with the model(s) we will be shooting in the morning.
What you should bring for this event:
Camera, lenses, memory cards, and batteries for the morning shoot
Computer with Lightroom, Photoshop and any plugins you have installed or want to use. Presentation will be using Lightroom CC, Photoshop CC, and Imagenomic Portraiture.
I will provide a handout of various techniques to save you from some writing, but you may still want to take some notes.
